FAQs:

  • If you are looking for an unintrusive, observant, and detailed photographer with a lowkey filmic style, then you should definitely reach out. My approach is very natural, in that I shoot what I observe and provide very little staging or direction (only during the portrait sessions do I really step in and direct). I document slow(-ish) weddings for couples that really value the time spent with their loved ones and friends over trying to get the “perfect picture.”

Most of the couples I’ve worked with have either bucked tradition in some way or another, or made up their own rules when it came to their day, so I’ve really had to adapt in every situation. Oh, and I’m also a verified member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association. You can learn more about WPJA here.

  • Yes, traveling is one of my greatest passions. I'm thrilled and humbled at every opportunity I get to hit the road. With that said, all travel expenses (with the exception of international dates) are included in each package so there’s no back and forth about sorting out extra random fees. I also offer a special rate for ceremonies that are local to me (Los Angeles and Orange Counties only). Easy.

  • Collections are typically ready within 2-4 months, sometimes sooner (sometimes later, thanks pandemic!).  I want these images to be perfect the first time you view them, so I tend not to rush during this process. I also meticulously curate each collection and edit myself rather than automate it or outsource to a third party.

  • Usually within the first week I'll send over about 25-50 images for you feast your eyes on—a quick highlight reel of portraits and moments carefully selected from the big haul.

  • Of course! You'll be receive them via USB and digital download (Pic-Time).  In addition, you'll also get a low-res set ideal for social-media sharing.  Please be sure to credit me when appropriate!

  • More often than not, I'll shoot by myself.  If the wedding guest list is large (anything above 75 guests), then I'll usually recommend adding one to the package (adds $425 for up to 4 hours) to assist and capture the main parts of the day.

  • Totally. I can put a beautiful hardcover, archival quality book together for you (adds $725+). We can work together (you select the images you want) or I can curate and design the whole thing on my end.

  • Please allow up to anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour for shooting the creative photo session on your wedding day to avoid rushing. That said, whether you are planning yourself or have a planner, we’ll work together to create a timeline that suits you and the process. This way, we can make time for all the moments that are important to you.

Don’t have a planner, but are looking for one? I recommend checking out the wonderful Salt & Sparrow.

  • Using the form above, shoot me a message about who you guys are and what you're looking for. If you've made it this far, chances are we're a pretty good match. I’ll be in touch to set up a short phone call so we can discuss your day further and get to know each other.

Technically, your wedding date is secured upon the payment of a 30% deposit and signing of the contract that will be provided. The remaining balance is due in intervals at 3 months and 3 weeks prior to your wedding date.
